Michelle Elizabeth Benson Keegan (born 3 June 1987) is a British actress who currently plays Tina McIntyre in the soap opera Coronation Street.

Early life
Keegan was born in Stockport, Manchester,[1] and attended St Patrick's RC High School in Salford,[2] and later the Manchester School of Acting.[3]
Keegan worked at Selfridges in the Trafford Centre shopping mall[4] and as a check-in agent at Manchester Airport.[5]
Career
Keegan was turned down for a part in Hollyoaks.[2][3][5] She also had a small cameo appearance in Red Dwarf: Back to Earth.[6]
On 14 June 2009 Keegan made her radio debut co-hosting the BBC Radio 1 programme The Official Chart with Reggie Yates.[5]
Keegan was on the cover of FHM Magazine in January 2011, and placed #30 and #26 in the FHM 100 Sexiest Women poll for 2010 and 2011 respectively.[6]
In late 2007, in only her second-ever audition, she was offered the chance to play the part of Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, and accepted the role and she still plays this character to present day.[5]
In 2009, she went on Stephen Mulhern's Anonymous a prank show on ITV.[7]
Personal life
Keegan dated Hollyoaks actor Anthony Quinlan from 2006 to 2008 and model Brad Howard from 2008 to 2010.[8] In December 2010 she began seeing Max George from boyband The Wanted, and the two became engaged on her birthday.[9] However, in April 2012 Keegan confirmed that the engagement was off,[10] and on the 21 July 2012 the pair cited "busy schedules" as the main reason for the end of their relationship.[11] Since January 2013 Michelle has been in a relationship with Mark Wright.[12]
